I detest to be like the world,
That takes without giving,
I'd hate to be a victim of selfisness,
In a world where a forgotten melody is, Serving.
All the warmth that kindles my soul,
Turning all frosty out in the snow storm-
Blindsided and blindfolded
In this fair of crowded swarms.
Living life in a race car,
Losing the potential to just 'be'
"Oh i wish i could just be like them"
I recognize similarity in all the faces I see.
Why do we forfeit our identity,
Only to mask it up with someone else's?
Why do you wanna be like a generation,
The sweetheart in you, which supresses?
I'd eternally wait for a being to see me,
Embrace the spectrum of the dark and bright i possess,
A human that's authentic and true to my core,
I think that's enough for me to be obsessed.
